Today I want to launch the Wise Parenting Project.  

So now, what is the Wise Parenting Project?  

Over the last few years, together with my husband Dawid, we’ve been exploring and test-driving ideas, tips, and research study findings from the best parenting and self-improvement books. Some worked, some didn’t, and some were left till the best moment. 

Last year, I thought it would be great to create a system – a set of habits – that will help us optimize our family life, create more work-life balance and develop a nurturing environment for our boys.   

Inspired by Gretchen Rubin’s The Happiness Project, I decided to take a pretty similar approach – dedicate every month to one of the 12 resolutions:

1. Create Family Mission Statement
2. Implement Agile tools
3. Have Special Time with each child
4. Prioritize play
5. Be proactive and less reactive
6. Master communication techniques
7. Prioritize date nights
8. Have more talking time
9. Focus on everybody’s strengths
10. Set boundaries and clear expectations
11. Be a leader, not a boss
12. Create memories

And my personal New Year resolution is to share the progress on the blog regularly 🙂
